The law requires Bridgecrest to make nine disclosures to consumers in a letter after repossession. If it does not, the law says that bridgecrest may not collect a deficiency balance. The law requires Bridgecrest to tell you everything you need to do to reinstate your contract in the written notice, not over the phone.
Bridgecrest credit company (“Bridgecrest”) is their third-party loan servicer. Once a title is issued in your name with carvana as the lienholder, Bridgecrest will secure and manage the title until the loan is refinanced or paid in full.
There have been multiple recent lawsuits against Bridgecrest acceptance corperation: in 2022 The Supreme Court of Missouri heard a lawsuit, having to do with allegations of unlawful and deceptive business practices.
